Mr. Laswell got the master tapes for some of Bob Marley's more popular tunes and made some amazing ambient remixes which were released in 1997 on Axiom Records which was a branch off of Island Records. He has done similar projects for many different artists including Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis. Outside of his remix work he was known for playing bass and has worked with some of the best in the Funk, Soul, and Jazz communities.Here are a few of my favorites off of the album.
